Why Lanterhome exists

In most homes one person quietly holds everything: who's doing the bins, what's for dinner on Thursday, whether there's still bread. Lanterhome takes that invisible list out of one person's head and puts it somewhere the whole family can see.

The name is the idea. A lantern in the hallway doesn't shout — it just makes the house easier to move around in. That's the job we want the app to do.

Say hello to the Lanterhome lantern — the friendly face your kids will actually look forward to seeing.

What we believe

Shared, not surveilled

A family organiser should help everyone cooperate — not let anyone monitor anyone else.

Kids deserve good design

If it isn't satisfying to tick off a chore or watch a reward grow, children simply won't use it.

Paid, so it's honest

We charge a subscription instead of running adverts or selling data. Your household is the customer.

We're just getting started

Lanterhome is new, and we're building it alongside the families using it. If something is missing for your household, we genuinely want to hear about it.
